Challenges Addiction Treatment Center fully understands a client needs to feel comfortable and relaxed while in treatment. So, here is a suggested list of what you can and cannot bring to our facility and residence. The list below also contains some suggested guidelines that we request the clients follow while here at Challenges.
All clothing will be worn with consideration and respect of others. Anything that depicts alcohol, drugs, violence, sex or gambling will not be tolerated.
All patients are required to wear undergarments (i.e., bras, underwear) and not intentionally expose them while in treatment and at residences. A light sweater, sweatshirt or jacket is recommended while at the clinical facility as we do keep the air quite low.
We do have a swimming pool on property we prefer all clients bring respectable swimwear, even though we are South Florida, we discourage thong and boy short type bathing suits for both women and men.
We recommend packing at least 5-7 days worth of clothing and depending on the length of additional can be brought in. Challenges does have laundry facilities on property available to all clients.
All patients must wear appropriate footwear at all times outside of your apartment. Sneakers, flip flops and flat soled shoes are recommended and absolutely no bare feet in the common areas.
We are a smoking facility in designated areas, so cigarettes may be brought into to the facility and purchased as needed.We do offer smoking cessation if you desire to quite while attending our treatment facility.
We do allow cell phones and laptops to be used throughout treatment but only after a 7 day waiting period depending on your case.
