Dr. Jeffrey Huttman has been practicing in the field of substance abuse and mental health for nearly twenty years. He is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the state of Florida. Dr. Huttman began his academic pursuits in psychology at Temple University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. After earning a Master of Arts in general psychology from Adelphi University he went on to receive a second Master of Arts degree and his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology. Dr. Huttman specializes in the treatment of Chemical Dependence and co-occurring disorders as well as acute psychiatric conditions, trauma, and anxiety. He has expertise in diagnosistics as well as program development. He has served as the clinical director of a psychiatric hospital and a private residential treatment center prior to his work with Challenges Program drug rehab center in Florida. His research interests and pursuits include the intergenerational transmission and effects of trauma, the Holocaust, and attachment theory.
